As the Manager of Infrastructure Operations at Quaid-e-Azam International Hospital, I was responsible for overseeing the day-to-day technical operations of IT infrastructure across Systems, Networks, Service Desk, MIS, Software Development, CCTV, and Security Divisions. My focus was on improving reliability, scalability, and performance while aligning IT processes with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearheaded the design, deployment, and upgrade of network and server infrastructure, ensuring alignment with hospital operational and security needs.
  • Facilitated and supported the Software Development Division by provisioning resources, planning infrastructure upgrades, and resolving cross-departmental conflicts.
  • Utilized infrastructure monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve performance issues, ensuring system availability and responsiveness.
  • Implemented and enforced the disaster recovery policy, ensuring data backup routines aligned with hospital compliance standards.
  • Monitored hardware lifecycle and ensured timely procurement based on par-level analysis, enabling continuity of operations.
  • Contributed to the development of a 5-year IT roadmap, aligning IT strategy with hospital growth objectives.
  • Provided actionable insights and regular briefings to department heads on potential risks and remediation plans.
  • Fostered a security-aware culture by conducting departmental training and awareness sessions on IT and cybersecurity policies.
  • Addressed recurring help desk issues by conducting root cause analysis and improving incident response strategies.
